Silver stacking ring workshop.
Introduction to silversmithing and make your own handmade silver stacking rings.
Learn the basics of Silversmithing and come away with not 1, but 3 stacking rings.
A choice of plain silver, balled silver and patterned silver and even copper if you prefer!
I may even chuck in a few other techniques if time allows!
A 1-2 hour workshop enabling you to design and make your own silver stacking rings. This is a basic class and is different to the advanced class.
You will be provided with plain silver round wire measuring 1.5mm by 75mm x 3.
We will calculate our ring size, measure and cut the wire before soldering to create 3 silver stacking rings.
You can hammer the wire for texture if you wish.
All materials are included – no hidden costs
Materials include 2mm x 75mm Sterling silver round wire (3 lengths) solder and use of all tools.
The Wonky Jewellery Studio is based in The Market town of Richmond North Yorkshire, a short distance from the Marketplace, on the Gallowfields trading estate, just along from Richmond Garden Centre.
Workshops are usually held on a daily basis between 10 and 5.00pm. Evenings Upon request. I’m more than happy to cater for other times and days, so just pop me a message.
You do not need any previous experience
Hand tools are used alongside a simple power tool. Safety goggles provided. Toilet and refreshments available
I also have my studio sidekick, Hugo – a border collie dog who is extremely friendly and likes to be involved with whatever I am doing. If this is a problem, please let me know.
