Intrigued and inspired by her surroundings, Lou’s work is random, and emotional. Bursting with innate organic form, its sculptural and poetic designs take on many a diverse range. 

Abstract, experimental and potentially dysfunctional, Lou uses an array of entangled processes within her work, creating unique and bold jewellery designs.

Using traditional Gold-smithing techniques, Lou likes to let the material react and evolve organically, creating beautiful bespoke and one off pieces. 

Heavily inspired by nature, specifically texture and tone.

Lou has over 10 years experience as a Jewellery designer and maker, Over 15 as an artist, Graduating from the Northern School of Art.

Lou is also a qualified teacher and teaches for York Learning throughout the year.
