Make a pair of Earrings Workshop

A 3 to 3.5 hour workshop enabling you to design and make your own pair of drop, dangly or hoop earrings.

Starting in copper you will learn how to adapt, and manipulate the metal by Sawing, piercing, hammering, annealing, patinating and forming. We will also cover soldering, texturing metal and other techniques such as stamping.

All materials are included – no hidden costs.

Materials include sheet copper for both your practice earrings and to add to your silver earrings if required (silver and copper look great together!) sterling silver sheet, surgical steel ear wires for your practice earrings, sterling silver ear wires, copper wire, silver wire, solder and all use of tools.

After playing and designing your piece, the techniques you learn will then enable you to create a pair of earrings using both sterling silver and copper.

The Wonky Jewellery Studio is based in The Market town of Richmond North Yorkshire, a short distance from the Main town on the Gallowfields trading estate, just along from Richmond Garden Centre.

You do not need any previous experience

Hand tools are used alongside a simple power tool. Safety goggles provided. Toilet and refreshments available.

Workshops are usually held on  a daily basis between 11 and 5.30pm. Evenings Upon request. I’m more than happy to cater for other times and days, so just pop me a message.

I also have my studio sidekick, Hugo – a border collie dog who is extremely friendly and likes to be involved with whatever I am doing. If this is a problem, please let me know.
